F-Zero GX crashing after a race. Using DIOS MIOS 2.10.

I'm having trouble with F-Zero GX. It crashes to a black screen after finishing the first race in the sapphire cup. Sometimes the game music keeps playing, other time I get a loud buzz. The other cups and story mode work fine, and I haven't had any issues with the 12+ other games I have. I'm using WiiFlow 4.2, but I don't think that is the issue as I get the same crash when I use the latest stable USB Loader GX or any other loader.

I've tried converting my disk to different formats (plain iso, GCReEx, DiscEx) all yielding the same results.
